About the efforts of overseas subsidiaries
Until now, we have limited our business activities to Japan, but we established TRUSCO NAKAYAMA CORPORATION(THAILAND) LIMITED in September 2010 and PT. TRUSCO NAKAYAMA INDONESIA in December 2014. In recent years, Thailand and Indonesia have become important production bases for Japanese companies. These regions are very attractive markets for us, whose mission is to help the development of manufacturing as much as possible.
Our business at overseas subsidiaries is a wholesale business as in Japan, and we supply products to the market through our dealers.
As in Japan, the basic strategy of a local subsidiary is to provide immediate delivery of products required at MONODZUKURI sites. Therefore, we have inventories in both subsidiaries, create local catalogs, enhance the product lineup, and strive to strengthen the immediate delivery system.
In terms of product supply, we have built a backup system that frequently ships ordered products and inventory replenishment products by making full use of air and sea shipment services from the logistic centers in Japan, as well as supply from local suppliers.
Through these activities, we aim to support overseas manufacturing industry by delivering "Just what is needed, only when needed, only in the quantity needed."
This subsidiary has continued to expand its sales to Japanese dealers
and to major local dealers. By holding inventory and strengthening our immediate delivery system, we are contributing to the efficiency of the PRO
TOOLs supply chain in Thailand by collaborating with local customers.
In
recent years, we have also been promoting our own initiatives, such as
direct trade with Japanese manufacturers, to reduce purchasing costs and
increase our share of local sales.

There were many factors that hindered PRO TOOLs distribution in Indonesia, such as heavy traffic congestion and strict import regulations. For this reason, we have set up a distribution center in an area where many factories belonging to Japanese companies are concentrated. With the largest inventory in the region, we are taking on the challenge of optimizing PRO TOOLs distribution. Against the backdrop of domestic demand in a company with a population of 270 million people, we will continue to contribute to Indonesia's advancing manufacturing industry.
